Guy Tetrick's philosophy on branding and architecture is beautifully simple: clarity and consistency. Hyundai Department Store, a retail giant in South Korea, shared this vision. After 37 years, Hyundai Department Store embarked on a brand identity renewal. In a bold move, they decided to become "THE HYUNDAI," shedding their previous identity. The exterior brand transformation was a key focus, transitioning from the familiar mint green, black, and yellow color scheme to a new, luxurious image represented by dark green and lilac hues. This metamorphosis extended beyond store facades, with the new logo adorning shopping bags, membership cards, and interior spaces. The result is a brand that not only evolves but elevates, delivering a clear and consistent message that Guy Tetrick was proud to help shape.
