In the quaint and historic village of Sagaponack, nestled along the Atlantic Ocean, timeless architecture meets modern luxury. This picturesque enclave, known for its working farms and exclusive beachfront properties, has long been a jewel in the Hamptons' crown, commanding some of the region's highest property values. Originally put on the map by potato farming, Sagaponack derives its name from the Shinnecock Indian Nation's word for the "land of the big ground nuts." Despite its soaring property values and larger houses, the village has preserved its old-world charm, with one-room schoolhouses still in use and Sagg Main Street boasting just one store and a small post office. Guycorp was entrusted with a unique challenge in Sagaponack – to streamline the construction costs of a contemporary masterpiece destined for Hedges Lane. By maintaining the original layout while introducing innovative foundation design and a standardized window schedule, Guycorp succeeded in substantially reducing projected costs. With 40 years of experience, Guycorp embraced the challenge and delivered an architectural gem befitting Sagaponack's legacy.
