“Where Design Excellence Meets Innovation”
Orlando International Airport
August 2020
Guycorp, a beacon of erudition and innovation, embarks on a transformative design journey at Orlando International Airport. With Guy Tetrick's profound insights and 40 years of industry experience, we craft spaces that blend style and comfort seamlessly. Driven by the increasing traffic originating in Orlando, the airport unveiled Garage "C" in November 2017, adjacent to the site designated for future terminal expansion. This expansion aligned with the vision to advance Orlando as a premier intermodal transportation gateway for global commerce. The central hub of this design concept is the Train Station, connecting to Parking Garage C, Terminals A and B via the Train Link people mover, and downtown locations in South Florida via Brightline, the only privately owned and operated intercity railroad in the United States. Guycorp played a pivotal role in integrating Brightline into the transportation hub, leveraging Guy Tetrick's familiarity with the train terminal and key elements, including public engagement. The airport's immersive experiences include the Moment Vault in Palm Court, offering a 360-degree surround experience with 2mm displays on a 15K digital canvas. Windows on Orlando, along the airside concourse, features a 100-foot-long, 32-foot-tall display with 20 original capsules filmed in 12K. The Portal, a future addition to the Town Square arrivals hall, boasts 32 custom curved screens suspended in a helical frame, telling the visual story of Central Florida's transformation. Guycorp's commitment to excellence and innovation shines brightly in the transformative design of Orlando International Airport, creating an unforgettable journey for travelers.
